U of T offers a wide range of resources and services to help students navigate their way. Encourage your student not to be afraid to ask for help with any questions or concerns. And, as in most situations, asking for assistance in the early stages of the problem seems to work best.

First in the Family Peer Mentor Program

A support program for students who are the first in their family to pursue post-secondary education (a first-generation student).
