International experience can help your student build confidence and expand your comfort zone, learn to manage the challenges of a global workplace
and connect with people from different cultures.
Studying around the world
There are lots of options of varying lengths and times (a week, a term, a summer), so look into exchanges, summer abroad, research opportunities
and more. Transfer credits can be pre-approved, many programs are offered in English and there are bursaries and scholarships available. Deadlines are in the early fall, so start getting researching your options now!
Research around the world
Many of U of T’s international partners offer the opportunity for students to do a research project or lab work under a professor, for credit, as a part of a regular exchange program – for a semester, a summer or a year. Your studnet should consider doing one of their courses abroad as a research project!
